7th March, 2009: Zayani Motors have been appointed as the new and exclusive dealership of renowned French automakers Peugeot in the kingdom of Bahrain at a press conference that was held at their showroom in Ma’ameer.
The announcement was made following the official end of the collaboration between Peugeot and Bahrain based distributor Mohammed Jalal & Sons Group. ‘Our success turns over a new leaf today as we take delight in informing you about our new partnership with one of Europe’s premier vehicle manufactures and an icon of the French industry,’ said Managing Director Mr. Nawaf Al Zayani at the event. The event was well attended by people from the business community as well as customers. Also present at the event were the Alzayani Investments Board of Directors, distinguished guests from the Ministry, Senior Managers from Peugeot Middle East, staff and Managers of Zayani Motors. The showroom launch event was concluded with a raffle draw and a brand new Peugeot 308 was handed over to the winner.
